Is any place quiet enough?

I'm sittin in the library on the stupid computers..only because I HAVE to, and not because I want to. I'm sitting on a stupid Mac...I had to move because some idiot girl was at the IBM computers being such an idiot. You'd think that when you come to the library, you can get some peace and quiet right?? NOO...not this time. This girl decides that she must eat an apple while she works on the computer..so every few seconds I'd hear, "sccrrrrunnnnchhh" as she bit the damn apple...and then the chewing would start! Before her stupid chewing was over..she'd be biting again! I looked around at her 3 times, but she just kept eating away...I was so annoyed, I walked off disgusted! So heck, I'm now here working on the stupid Mac's.. :(

Can a planned life be too planned?

I'm stuck on using a planner. I've been using planners since I was about 18 years old and started my freshmen year in college.  In the planner I generally write down what needs to be done daily..in which I made a "to do list" per day.  Most days I finish the list, and some days things get transferred to the following day...but it does help to get everything done which I could possibly imagine doing.

But...I wonder..is being so planned a good thing? I get to a point sometimes that I wish I didn't have that "to do list" and sometimes it becomes a chore!! I get sick of it, and really don't want to follow through on it, but only do it because it has to be done.  I know of friends who don't have planners or these so called "to do lists", and they dont' forget things...so would I remember things if I didn't have a planner?? I should just try..but can't seem to find the guts to do it! Maybe some day...I'll do it...We'll see :) Till then I'll keep checking off on my to-do list....and yes writing this post today was on the list! ;)

Some Songs NEVER Get Old...

I am a devoted fan of Richard Marx. I love all his songs well most of them. I had the opportunity to listen to Richard Marx's song "Take this heart" in my car, in which I boomed it up really loud. I've loved this song since I was 13 years old..and even now, I love it the same. You'd think that hearing some songs so many times, makes ya get sick of them..but NOT this one!

Same goes..for songs by Bryan Adams! One song being "Summer of 69"..I've been listening to him since I was 13..and I'm still crazy about his music!!!

Oh and there are a few country songs which I'm still stuck on since I first got stuck on them when I was about 14 or 15 years old. Songs by singers such as George Strait, Tim McGraw, John Michael Montgomery....

Something NEW

Something new which I added! Took all the posts from my previous blog and put them onto this one. The other blog wasn't what I wanted anymore, and I was having a hard time managing that blog and this one. Now all things are here in one spot :)

I Love Post-Its!!!!!!

Maybe my memory is going insane, but I love Post-its! Yes Yes I admit it, I do love them! I constantly am writing down lists of "things to do" and I KNOW I will forget if I do not write down what needs to be done...and well Post-Its have become my best friend because of this habit! Every day I must go through at least 4 Post-Its on which I write down what I need to do!!! All I know is that these wonderful sticky pieces of papers totally help me get the job done!

Different Cultures or different Races?? Hmmm....

So I was reading some stuff up on the net the other day. I came across Angelina Jolie's comment about how she is looking to adopt more kids. She said something of the sort "I'd like to have kids from all over the world under one roof, in which these kids would represent different cultures". Well I never take what celebrities take seriously anyways, but lets think of this one for a moment. How can having children from  different countries entail different cultures?? Think about it. Aren't cultures learned. I have never heard of a child be born on which his head says, please raise in the western culture, or well please raise child following customs of Thailand! The most this ever so smart celebrity could have said was that she wanted different races under one roof! What weirdo...

Will a higher price make people quit?

I went on a trip recently with my famiy and on our way we stayed overnight in Michigan. On the nightly news in Michigan they were saying that Michigan will have the highest price for cigarettes in the nation. It sort of made me wonder. Do people really think that by increasing the cigarette price..people will stop smoking? I highly highly doubt it. I've had friends who were smokers and I asked them if the higher prices would make them quit...their answer was a simple "NOPE"

Back at it..but HERE

I took a year hiatus from this msg board and started a new one..only to come back to this one. I figure that with time I will delete the other one. I need to figure out a way, however to get all the posts from that msg board onto here. Those posts were from the year of 2003-2004, well the academic school year.

I'm starting back here again for the academic year of 2004-2005 and onwards. I like this msg board just a heck of a lot better.
