Generic I know...Cute--Completely!

Ok Ok..so I hate the world of Generic people. I'm sick of seeing the white corded headphones for all the ipods out there. I think the white cords have become more of a fashion statement than the ipod thingies themselves..as I've seen some peeps on campus with just white corded headphones! Stupid I know!!

In any case..I've always told myself I will not succumb to the pressures of the rest and be like the masses...it just isn't me, unless I completely fall in love with it. And....as much as I'd hate it, I'm falling in love with the new iPod shuffle..it's cute. Will I get it? It's a toss-up..odds are no. If the odds someday turn to yes, I'll end up probably get some non-whitecord headphones to go with it. Sorry, no can do..I hate promoting things unless I truely support them..and there is hardly anything I truely support..well maybe Kenneth Cole products, but that's such a different story! In any case..above is a pic for all you to enjoy of the of shuffle...

Now I've got myself thinking..have I really promoted anything?? hmm.....

The idea of Guns

The idea of guns disgusts me. I know there are a ton of people who agree or disagree with me. I'm not talking about right to bear arms, or people saying we need guns in case the government tries to screw us up. I'm talking about people who think they need guns to protect themselves. I really don't get it. As it stands, and within the location one lives in, or at least the location I live at, I don't feel "threatened"..I don't feel I need a gun to protect myself. I think all I need is a phone which can dial 9-1-1..simple as that. People who think guns can save them are stupid..unless they are convicts and know someone is out there to hunt them down. And the ones who don't have anybody after them but still got a gun after some gun-shooting lessons should question themselves if and whether the time arose--would they be able to stand up and use the thing??? Or would they wuss out?

It's all relative!!

So we ALL complain about how much we have to do..how little time we have...blah blah blahhhhh. I'm one to complain about this one for sure. Some will say they have it the worst..yah Im guilty I say it too! But the real thing is that we all have it bad, and each of our situations in their own way is baaad..but in the end whatever makes us bogged down is similar for everyone. It's relative to us not being stressed. It's relative to the extent we can handle..while some find a little bit of stress to be at level 10, others may find a ton of stress to be 10...yet some need it beyond 10 to consider it stressfull enough. It's all relative about how much you can handle...

So yah..just a thought. I gotta stop complaining..we all feel it! Lets make the most of it, rather than complain...we should do something about it..like W O R K :)
