My Thoughts and Yours...

Semester is coming to an end..yehhhaaa

Finally, the semester is coming to an end and I'm the busiest! I have to work on a lab practical which I need to set up for the micriobliology students, then I have to send out all my grad apps.I have 3 papers to write, and 1 presentation to give. And 3 finals to study for :( YIKES!I have a few of those done, but heck, finals week stinks..it comes around...and everyone gets busy like a freak!!!!! mmmm....weird..

Borrowed things--ARE really Borrowed!!!

Mmm...I cannot name people, but I know I can talk indirectly about things as I will today on here as it has been bugging me for a while. So here goes. At my university, a certain someone called Mrs.Bit is borrowing something from another someone named Ms.Shh. Anyhow Mr. Bit has decided to tell everyone that whatever she borrowed is totally hers, and that she knows how to take care of this thing, and she takes care of this thing she borrowed like its's HERS. Even when Ms.Shh's students use the thing Mrs.Bit comes in the room to check up on the thing to make sure it is being used right. Ms.Shh has not seen this thing for a few years now, and Ms. Shh is totally quiet about it, and she never speaks up about it though it bugs her, but she hates causing commotions.

I only wonder about this situation. As I see it is one thing to borrow, and to state you are borrowing it, and to acknowledge to whom it belongs to, but it is ANOTHER thing to solely call whatever you borrown your own, and NEVER mention who owns it, and never even acknowledge who it is..and the worst is to not even let the initial owner of the thing to use it..that's CRAZY...

I wonder if people out there are just not raised well..I would never take something borrowed and make it mine..NEVER..that's wrong!!!

Lunch today..

I had the honor of being invited to a lunch today with a speaker at my university that the college of science and engineering had sponsored. AT the lunch, there was another grad student, and an undergraduate who had been chosen to eat with him. Also there was the chair of the bio dept, the Dean of the college of science and engineering, and a few other professors. It was weird to be asked to go to this lunch, knowing that I was told someone had recommended me to go to it...I wonder who? A professor for sure...but wonder which one...

The lunch was okay. They served nasty ugly looking bloody steak. I looked at it, and lost my apetite, and never touched it! I just ate the blob of mashed potatoes by it, while listening to the speaker talk while he eats. Then I left early as I had a class...but later I found out they served cheese cake and I missed out!!! :( Greeeeaaaat!!!!!

Mmmm...I am studying for a test on friday; another biochemistry test. I have a firm grade in the class to not have to take the test, since our lowest test score is dropped. i could have this one dropped, but I'm studying anyways, just to see what i'd get...weird I figure, but heck it'll make my studying for the final a whole lot easier! Okay back to work...

NEver listen to others....

So I am taking biochemistry class this fall as well as the biochem lab this fall. EVERYONE told me that, that class was hard, and so much work, and that biochem is just totally weird, and hard to comprehend. I come into the class thinking, my God, the least grade I'll get in this class if I study will be a B-...mmm, I donno, I am doing well..almost too well. More than I could wish for, I guess. I don't wanna jinx myself, so I will say no more. But this class has turned out to the easiest chemistry class, and the most fascinating one I took! mmmmmmmm...I like it ;)

I suppose, maybe the reason I'm doing well is because others freaked me out, so I study a lot, but I study less for this class than I do for my immunology class!!!!!!

Mmm..that'd be it! I'm on my way to finishing my masters and getting outta this teeny university hopefully into a bigger better one for my phd..wohoo!!
